Well, the shoe might point you towards the right culture. The detail on the sleeve and the helmet crest and the armor type, with cloak, are all visible.

Ok, plagued by guesses of sandstorms and particle monsters, I'll reveal all of Caratacos' work here, but I won't say what it is yet.

Well, the rhomphaia shows that it must be a Getai unit (as do the shoes and scales). Now, perhaps some sort of Hippeis Eugenai? The armour and shield look like the sort of things that nobles would go in for.

It's certainly a nice unit. For EB not EB2, I presume.
I like all the detail, I hope that they throw in as much as they can, seen as quite a few people have upgraded their PC's for Med 2.

Interestingly, this unit does not exceed our advised number of polygons for a general model (I cannot remember the number), but it is so amazing how much detail Xprime can get in. The texture is also 512x512, so more than our units, but nothing spectacular, yet Xprime can still do so much with that space. He's a great addition to our team!

I'm just not going to bother buying Med2 until either EB2 or one of the Medieval realism mods comes out. My computer would need a big upgrade anyway to get the best out of M2TW, and frankly I don't think (from what I've seen) that Vanilla M2TW is really worth it. It just looks like a Medieval super-mod for RTW. I'd much prefer an ancient super-mod for RTW, like, say, Europa Barbarorum!

He joined mostly to work on EB2 units, as a member of Ortus Romani, but since real unit work can't begin yet on MTW2, he has (thankfully for us) agreed to help us with some of the higher def general models (and maybe a few other getai) till then. It is some amazing stuff alright!

Now that is good news that you have such talented people to work on what, 240 new units? for EB2.

Man, just what are some of those puppies going to look like with what 50-100%? more detail over EB's present units.
