What would you do if space aliens from outer space invaded your town, intending to rigorously probe the inhabitants?

Unlike Akar, I would not sacrifice my dear subjects to save my behind from such a thing. I would offer myself to the space aliens in exchange for my subjects lives and I would work out a deal with them for a alliance and trade. I assume aliens like cashews, it’s the food of royalty.
