Milan is ready for the 1448 campaign!

This will be a very exciting campaign. The city of Milan is rebel under the Golden Ambrosian Republic. Francesco Sforza must now conquer the city of Milan in order to be crowned as Duke and restore the Duchy of Milan.

The House of Visconti is now replaced by the House of Sforza. Lots of famous Sforza characters will be present.

Florence will be a very interesting faction to play as it has 3 settlements in Italy but also one settlement in Greece. Historically, the Florentine family of Acciaiuoli acquired the Duchy of Athens and were involved in the struggle to maintain their possession against the Ottoman onslaught.

There will be several new factions with modified rosters based on old ones, others with brand new units. Don't forget that we have a bunch of late game units activated by events so in the end the battles will look a bit different in the late version, with all the heavy pavise infantry, landsknechts, stradiots, late heavy cavalry, new unique mercenaries etc.

I hope you can become an emperor as Serbia.

    After defeating the Ottomans.

I also hope that historical battles can be switchable because they can be annoying and the game is about rewriting history.

Not a great time to be a Serb but at least you're in a better position than that pitiful despot in Constantinople who thinks he's an Emperor.

Exciting! Love this mod, such a brilliant work. Is there an ETA on the 1448 campaign?

    Hello folks!

Just a small suggestion - Stefan Crnojević should not have the title of Despot. Its a pretty major and important title, and only the Roman Emperor has the right to bestow it (the kings of Hungary usurped this right when there were no more Roman Emperors in Constantinople). To my knowledge, Stefan was never crowned Despot.

Will France be an emergent faction?

It will be emergent for the late campaign, we added those new factions because few others were removed or merged from the early campaign.
