You are correct, just checked, the original script has a 'additional nazgul' script part where several nazguls get spawned over the course of the game, eg depending on turn numbers. They are totally identical except for the data name (nazgula, nazgulb etc), the display name being the same, which makes it seem that they are immortal. Or, as I assumed, that they would be respawned after being killed - unless that's what it got changed into in other version\submods.
