    Because Silvio cries too!

We need a place where to share the sad stories of our lives, don't we?.. No? Seriously? Well it's too late now, so just throw in here some sad crap and make us feel human again.

Do you mean personal sad stuff or things we saw, read?

Believe me or not, but that was the precise story which gave me the idea of making this thread. I mean, look at her eyes, my grandfather had exactly the same day expression the day he died.. Jesus Christ

Why are we supposed to be sad about the gorilla leaving this filthy world and meet Jesus?

I believe you. I mean the picture has a very strong unverbal power and the story is heart-rending sad...

I always was sad when I deleted the last known photo of my grandfather off my computer a year or so ago. He died December of 2009 when I was a younger Warman and about 2 weeks before he died I took a photo of him during the thanksgiving holiday here and he looked really sick and sad. I didn’t want the last photo I have of him to be of something like that. So the last photo I have of him is from August of that year 7 days before he broke his hip. He looked better then.

That feeling when you've been working hard all day outside and all you can think of all day was that cold one waiting for you in the fridge when you are done. As evening finally looms you go inside all sore and tired and cannot waiting to go to fridge, get your drink and unwind. You open the fridge and you discover that someone else drank it.

The day the last VW Beetle rolled of the assembly line in Mexico was a sad day, how was I going to make my next beach buggy?

Still bewailing the death of the Dear Leader.

And Silvio's best friend from the south, the humble General Gaddafi, of course.

At least we still have Duterte.

plenty of Buggies and replacement parts left. Saw one crushed by a truck on a motorway the other day. And some years ago when I was still young and fresh I got to partake in a prank where we dismantled a beetle and rebuilt it in a dorm mate's room. we strew cress seeds on his carpet too, so he had the appropriate field of grass beneath the car when he came home from holiday.

It was just so sad when Mussolini, Ted Bundy, Vlad the Impaler, and Attila the Hun died. Sad!
