I misread the photo thread as the potato thread. I was happy for 2 seconds.

I never planted potatoes before but my grandfather used to be good at that. I used to love planting corn and tomatoes and sunflowers. Biggest sunflower we had was over 8 feet tall back in 2006.

Here is my grandfather, I was close to him. He was raise on a farm (his parents were from Croatia). His health went into a final slow decline the following year and died in December of 2009 but I was happy I was able to run the garden mostly on my own that year with what he taught me.
