I never played DND. It seems like something I would have absolutely adored when I was a teenager but there was never any milieu for it where i grew up. Closest I ever got was Warhammer tabletop and writing dumb Roll RP pieces here.

If you haven't heard about it, it's basically Commandos/Desperados set in Edo Japan.

I’ve had people legitimately tell me that’s why they hate strategy or sin games. Like “I wanna be in control not telling a guy to do something”

Company of Heroes actually gives me that feeling. Every time I play it I wish it had first person camera so I can do the shooting.

Actually there was a game that allowed you to do that, Warfront something. I don't remember if it was every unit or just the base defenses.

Yeah, I've played it awhile ago. You can do it in Tank Simulator as well I believe.

Rise and Fall: Civilizations at War was just like that, set in antiquity. Only played the demo though and it was somewhat less than stellar.

Before I am using Mainframe Cobol which is the older one. Now I'm using the Microfocus Cobol. but hey, they are just the same Cobol language, just different platforms.
