Lohse's story is one of the best in any game I've played.

That's a C-RPG named Black Geyser: Couriers of Darkness. It has been made by an independant studio in Austria named GrapeOcean.

I bought the EA last summer and the full release is out since last 17th of March. The game is in line with Baldur's Gate or Icewind Dale. It is not perfect but has a good potential IMO. Graphically, it is pretty good. The gameplay is alright. Bad side: quite resources incentive. But the devs are doing their best to improve that point, especially the download time for some areas after a few hours of game.
I'm not too far in game yet but I'm really enjoying it so far.

I was actually waiting to have played more to write something about it in the Other Games section
But just to give you a quick view at it (even if it's not the right thread):

If you like more modern CRPGs, you’ll probably love Divinity Original Sin 1/2 on the very small chance you haven't tried it yet.

Tbh I’m a big nerd for DA:O as well. I know DA2 gets a lot of hate with Inquisition being seen as a return to form but I enjoyed it a lot more than Inquisition which I found to be such a boring slog that I barely got more than a few hours into it

Nah, Inquisition was a pale shadow of Origins. It looked good because DA 2 was so bad.

I could never get into any of the games after Origins. The gameplay of Origins was just exactly what I was looking for.

I honestly don’t find the stupid ass spawning enemies in 2 bad enough to undo all the parts I enjoyed. I was able to enjoy it less as a traditional Turn based combat RPG and more as an action RPG kind of like how Mass Effect 2 massively dumbed down 1 but was still fun to play. Inquisition saw the criticism of 2 being too streamlined and had all the wrong takeaways when making the game. It’s soooo ing big that I feel like I’m just ing off doing nothing and the combat is massively wide but completely lacking depth and not fun to learn. There’s just so much going on in a non-cohesive way That I feel like I’m just getting information overload and learning nothing

The starting area is your first chance to sell the player on your world. Crazy they managed to that up so bad.

I find it so hard to enjoy modern AAA titles, these days. I never thought I'll say that, but I'm actually hoping for good old remasters.
