He's still around . Hey, if I'm still here after 17 years on Total War, then anything is possible.

No, but it definitely includes things that would at face value be insulting/threatening or possibly promote illegal activities. Damn it, now it seems like I'm trying to get the post infracted.

Secondly the main credit goes to TD members themselves. Back then the forum activity was pretty crazy and the only way to get things more friendly and less chaotic was by direct interaction and befriending rule breakers and spammers rather than stomp authority for every other ToS violation. Because in the end, no one really wanted to hurt the site or any other member.

Things can never work until there are positive actions taken from both sides.

It’s a delicate balance between enforcing rules and creating a good environment for everyone and also being so heavy handed you kill enthusiasm and the fun posting atmosphere entirely. The TD and it’s members have grown up and pretty much everyone here has known everyone a long time so it’s easier to really just have a chill environment than maybe a decade ago when everything was legitimately crazy and you still had a ton of noobs funneling in. I think the balance it has arrived at is pretty nice, and certainly different than what is necessary in the D&D sub
Both posts make good points. It was the wild west here sometimes. While you (Ishan) credit a lot of people for your methods though, 'on the street' you were the face of more reasonable policing, you definitely put in the ground work. Those of us who were around still appreciate that.

And here we have it, you reveal yourself to not recognise any of the legitimately elected leaders of Thema Devia since the Restoration of 2017. Although I'd expect nothing less from a Republican!

Is the legitimacy of the governate derived from the governed? Neigh, it is derived from a specially carved honeydew melon!

So if you lose, will you lead your Akarland forces in a uprising?

Asia seemed to have their fair share of coups too.

The Middle-East, Latin America...Europe in the past. America in the present. Hmm, almost as if it's unfair to always belittle one continent

Why bother with a mandate of the people when you can have the mandate of the melon?

Wow, that's pretty disrespectful. Would you ask the pope for evidence of holy sanction?
