    We are proud to announce the next version of Tsardoms Total War. This version is not savegame compatible and will require a brand new mod installation.

    Installation

    - Download the mod from the following link: https://www.moddb.com/mods/tsardoms-total-war/downloads/tsardoms-total-war-version-20
    - Unpack the mod in the Mods folder of your Medieval 2 Total War folder using the installer. PLEASE ENSURE YOU UNPACK IN THE MODS FOLDER NOT THE MAIN MEDIEVAL 2 FOLDER
    - Download the hotfix and extract into your Tsardoms-2.0 folder: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Vnq...ew?usp=sharing

    - Steam installation: follow the same instructions as above, than go into Steam right click on the Medieval 2 Kingdoms game, go to Properties, then go to Set Launch Options and replace what is there with the following --features.mod=mods/Tsardoms-2.0
    Basically for Steam the actual name of the Tsardoms folder and executable file must be there

    - a host of historical characters for Bohemia and historical scripts including the choice between Hussite and Catholic factions which will have different units depending on your choice

    - large amount of historical events for the Principality of Wallachia including the Draculesti/Danesti feud, civil wars and rebellions (rebellions of Vlad the Usurper, Radu the Handsome, Basarab the Little Impaler), emerging historical characters (such as Parvu and Barbu Craiovescu, Neagoe Basarab, Laiota Basarab, Dan II and more).     - economic rework with a reduction of trade income and increase of farming income so that there is a harder choice between agricultural and trade regions

    - reduction in the age characters live up to, now there will no longer be large amounts of 70-80 year olds on the map
    - settlement changes: La Canea replaced with Kamenets-Podolski
    - a lot of bugs and minor fixes including the Messina battle model fix, the non-shooting Cannon towers, the short ladders and more

    Hell yes!, best mod for medieval 2 imo
    thank you so much for your hard work, could you add the new music pack?, the one in the mod doesnt work. i havent had a chance to test it out since it was taken down in the previous version.

    The mod has been great but i have a question. Why if i install 2/4 turns mod i do not get event and intro script?

    Oh wow I had no idea, you had released the new version, you should update you moddb page when you can. So now is the general loyalty issue been fixed? cause i didn't read that in the patch notes. Also thanks for fixing those short ladders.

    Yeap loyalty is fixed too, forgot to list it. At the moment will keep it twc exclusive, next week will add to moddb and facebook

    The only problem is the rebels guys. Zey are outta control. I love the passive religion thing and that swordsmith upgrade to missile units is sexy.

    I mean any of them. The Cyprus has 14 stacks already. I think we need to limit their recruitment. Near Varna there are 7 stacks. CAI cannot handle them, Timurids will run in fear when they see it! I am at turn 112 with Genoa and Golden horde did not siege Caffa they offered peace at turn 5.

    Maybe adding a more aggresive AI would help too? Like the one the Stainless steel use. EB2 AI is notouriuosly not aggresive and never deals with rebel stacks. I think SS AI is over aggresive, sure, but it atleast attacks often and does not stand arround their settlements. Love how you dealt with Aydinid island-hoping problem. They expanded quite well but still I think AI should get atleast some financial support. Serbia is dominating in my campaign. Ottomans did almost nothing to the Byzantines. So Romans doing well enough. In previous version Trinacria used to crush Naples, now it is other way arround lol. Duchy of Athens got thrown out of their settlements in Greece, now there stands about 6 stacks of rebels.

    @bordinis. you are a machine if you are already at turn 112. Those rebel stacks sound very weird and are not intended, not sure why they appear. The rebel AI doesn't really act like a normal faction with recruitment and building.

    Jurcek will have to confirm but we use ReallyBadAI which I am pretty sure is the same AI used by Stainless Steel. But there are so many variances in the AI behaviour its almost impossible to predict what the AI will do. Even small things like roads and pathfinding can impact the AI. For example, you mention the Aydinid island hopping but as far as I know we didn't do anything different to the Aydinid AI compared to the previous version.

    This is my favourite mod why should I stop playing it 24/7.. Anyway Aydinids do not bug out because Jurcek removed the islands, sure Rhodes are still a brain savant for AI to reach by land lol but island hoping and standing is gone. Yeah I think rebels should only recruit like 1 unit each 10 turns so a restriction is needed on them. The reason so many rebel stacks roam on the map is also the AI passivity, it never attacks rebels at all and vice versa. Not sure is it EB2 AI or the one SS use that is very aggresive but this one really loves peace and blocking a port and the next turn ask for peace

    Someone has to be annoying like me for the sake of the mod I want peaople to have a decent experience

    Btw has anyone try the new viglei hippeis? I haven't yet since i don't buy them yet but they have 15 charge which more than greek general bodyguard and noble and equal to kavallairoi lancers so i was wondering if they are more effective than their lore status as milita cavalry would implied.

    Edit : Yeah viglei hippeis are pure shock cavalry, it's charge are powerful enough to rout infantry that is not elite but die very quickly once engaged in melee

    Music Pack isn't working right? I've also got a CTD when playing Bohemia and trying to pass the Heir Ring Ancillary from Karel IV to the another one person. Gonna attach the log if it usefull.

    Yeah the music pack is not compatible with the current version yet so please avoid it. Well your crash is odd, I tried transferring the ancillary twice to other characters without issue. Is the crash recurrent if you try again?

    Maybe problem was I was trying for error to transfer to the guys who was already hair apparent.
