Army on the march
Why can't the movement of armies in-between turns be made more interesting and immersive?
For too long, movements on the campaign map have been simply about moving an Army icon from Point A to Point B.
This makes the whole point of playing the game only about getting to some place and robs the player of immersion in the gameplay when in fact, army movement was a sight to behold in antiquity!
I'd like to propose an animation for whenever an Army moves, a video plays depicting that army marching through the terrain of the region they’re in e.g. North Africa, Italian mainland etc. It would be similar to using the camera to zoom in on Cav or infantry chasing down routed forces.
Or, they could be on Forced march which shows them running while cursing the gods and their General giving the player a real sense of the urgency he's placed his troops in...
Or, a chance to look at Caesar leading his troops as in the Caesar in Gaul DLC...
A simple feature like this in-between turns could make the game a whole lot more exciting and playable.

Re: Army on the march
you mean triggering a video while the AI turns go on?
theoretically should be doable I think, it will probably just lag though since AI turns tend to lag a lot
