Thanks! The RR modding stuff is advancing all the time, from the IWTE side we've just started experimenting with rotating base textures to fit slopes on the generated textures, this is a WIP rebuild of the vanilla map mesh/textures we tried today:

With the increased number of possible settlements, is it possible to break up those large empty regions on the side of the map, even if it is to put there just a few villages that would remain villages?
alhoon is not a member of the infamous Hoons: a (fictional) nazi-sympathizer KKK clan. Of course, no Hoon would openly admit affiliation to the uninitiated.

There should be no reason why not! You should be able to use hidden resources to stop them upgrading.

Well done mak! I was wondering about that.

If EB1 ever got ported to the remaster I'd buy this in a heart beat.

Looking forward to seeing a completed mod using this system-worth playing. Rome 2 really has no depth to it so hope this will make roman era gaming fun again.

The mod I think is most worth watching at the moment is RIS - a little bird (their public discord channel) tells me they have a major patch release coming very soon.

Me, I'm too busy dragging RTW/RR into the 13th century!
