Game doesn't play cutscenes and movies

For example when I start the Road to Independence campaign, the game doesn't show the cutscene, instead it loads the first small battle against the natives. Afterwards no other cutscene is played during the campaign.
In the Grand Campaign no movies about events show up either (duels, revolution, etc.), I only get the notifications and a picture.

Also, where is Steam and ETW installed (I have ETW here - E:\Steam\steamapps\common\Empire Total War)?

I solved it! The problem was that I had edited the file movies.pack in order to get rid of the logos and intro. Afterwards, the game stopped playing all the movies for some reason so I had to reinstall the game and it's fine now.
