    Default Map Mesh Nerfer for Rome Remastered

    EDIT 2: This shouldn't be needed now - use IWTE to produce a simple mesh from your map tga files instead!!

    Replaces visible map mesh components with one triangle .cas files hidden at corner of map. Frame sides and corners, apart from bottom left, are also removed.



    One mesh piece is a flat plane sized to correspond with the vanilla map (map_regions size in meters) the texture on this can be used as an underlay to display your new map design whilst in progress. If you have a different sized map, you can re-size this plane to match using IWTE's case>dae>cas function and Blender.

    For use for map development in Rome Remastered so you can load new WIP maps without being confused by the existing mesh.




    EDIT: WARNING! This works for approx vanilla sized map, it doesn't work for much larger maps... I think the confusion generated about the correct placing of settlements/tree heights etc may be too great with larger areas
