    • The Mundus Magnus map has been added, with a complete overhaul of the settlements, and trade resources, based off historical research.
    • A brand new economic system, focused on farming early campaign and trade later. This is a much more difficult system than vanilla, but not impossible by any means!
    • A brand new recruitment system focusing on a choice: pick allied and get no military but some nice bonuses. Pick annexation and get your military but some penalties. This is a WIP and not final!
    • All new faction icons, campaign and battle map banners as well as some changed faction colors.
    • Massive amount of new music, combining the works of RS2 and RTR as well as brand new compositions by Tyler Cunningham.
    • Multiple temples per settlement.
    • A much tougher free people’s faction, they act independent, are strong and might even attack you!
    • New environments, skies, LUTS (lighting), weather, and clouds for a more in-depth and realistic experience!
    • New trait systems from RS2 including: Roman Leadership, Roman Provincial Governors, Greek Leadership, Carthaginian Leadership, Barbarian Leadership, Hellenistic Dynasties and Satrapies, and Personality traits.
    • Loads of new descriptions for factions, new recruitment buildings and units, written by our professional historians!
    • New horses, combining the Rome Remastered horses with RS2 saddle, cloth and armor models/textures.
    • New scripts, such as garrisons scripts in important cities, AI scripts, and an emergency army script.
    • And much more!

    Changelog v0.1.3:
    1. Fixed issue with localisation that caused crashes with non-English language versions of the game.

    Changelog v0.1.2:
What's Changed (v. 0.1.2 -- for the best experience, start a new save):
    1. Fixed the crashes when achieving victory as any faction (not SGC)
    2. Fixed crashes from an incorrect skeleton for a mercenary cavalry unit.
    3. Minor unit model fixes.

    Changelog v0.1.1:
    What's Changed (v. 0.1.1):
    1. Fixed the issue where players would not be able to start a campaign due to a 'Select an Item from the List' error.
    2. Fixed unit cards not showing for players using the Vibrant (Original) unit colour scheme.

    3. Fixed all units that did not have a texture, or units in campaigns that did not have textures for the factions they were given to.
    - Improved models and fixed flickering issues in most units and officers.
    4. Fixed crashing issues on macOS. Now hopefully there should be no more issues when playing battles.
    - Fixed testudo formation crashing for some units due to them being spearmen.
    5. Rebalanced unit stats and costs, and mount stats, for a more realistic experience.
    6. Changed some city garrisons to improve campaign balance.
    - Getia was given to the Getae to improve their campaign performance.
    - Altered the peasant unit to be extremely expensive to recruit to prevent AI using it for army composition, but allow for it to spawn during revolt and prevent CTDs.
    7. Added RS2 animations.
    - Removed swords from hoplites.
    8. Fixed issue where sandstorms would occur in nearly all battles.

    Changelog v0.1.0:
    What's Changed (v. 0.1.0):
    1. All vanilla units replaced with units from Roma Surrectum 2
    - These are old models and textures. The textures have been upscaled to perform better on the Remaster and look amazing for being 10+ years old!
    - These will be placeholders(!) until we can mod the new Remastered units.
    2. Most unit descriptions overhauled.
    - The descriptions are either from RTR VII and Roma Surrectum 2 and provide more detailed history about most units.
    3. All Roman Legions and Auxilia are now represented.- They can now be recruitable after the marian reforms and each legion has a designated area of recruitment (AOR)

    Changelog previous Teaser version:

    1) Unified Rome
    - No senate missions or civil war
    - Roman families still represented in family tree
    - Diplomacy adjusted to account for single Roman factions
    2) Made Egypt into Greek Culture
    - Portraits, voices and UI are now Greek
    - Still retain Egyptian Followers and traits, but gain greek ones as well
    - Greek building tree instead of Egyptian, but keep Egyptian Gods
    - No new units, still Bronze Age Egyptians for now
    3) Renamed most factions to more historical names
    - Barbarian factions are no longer 'nations of ethnicity' but Tribes or a collection of Tribes
    - Kingdoms show true Kingdom names
    4) Repositioned factions to more historical areas and balanced out starting armies to make for consistent gameplay (instead of being in the red from the start)
    - Greek Cities have Athens and Massilia, but lose Thermon and Pergamum
    - Seleucids have Sidon and Susa
    - Egypt gets Halicarnassus
    - Carthage gets Leptis and Tingi
    - All other factions are reduced to their historical starting points, and had starting armies nerfed to keep costs balanced
    - Gauls represent: Aedui, Volcae, Insubres & Galatians
    5) Adjusted culture/faction ownerships of settlements, regions and rebels for more accuracy and immersion
    6) Adjusted the historical battles that Brutii, Scipii and Senate were in to be just Julii, now Rome (there's a bug where both versions of the battle are still selectable though)(edited).

Any chance of getting this uploaded to ModDB or Nexus, please?

I really dislike the Steam Workshop route.

I like as little as possible interaction with Steam.
If Remastered had been available on GOG I would have bought from there.

Okay but as you already got the game there why not just subscribe to the mod there as well. It will automatically update when we release something new for instance.

OK I installed according to the instructions.
The mod is showing in the launcher & I ticked all the tick boxes.
Can I take it I should be seeing a different splash screen at some point during the game load?
    Currently I am not.
I start the imperial campaign & I am getting vanilla.

Patch 0.1.3 released! It includes patch 0.1.2 and so only requires the main 0.1.1 version from ModDB.

Thanks jorell who sent me the files.
