I just love Massalia.
Interesting roster and the ability to go North ( Celts/Gauls ), South ( Iberia ) or East ( Rome ). Campaigns are never the same.

Athen's mercenary core is incredible, and Athens itself is the core of Greece.

Leaving aside the "core of Greece" part, their mercenary core means they're one of the few factions able to assemble a full roster of quality infantry from just their class 3 pop (watch KAM nerf them because reasons), and their reformed cavalry is some of the best in the game, with what I consider the optimal mix of speed and combat power, and their Athenian archers are nothing to sneeze at, especially given the heavy infantry they have in front.

No sadly, but they are such a great faction they somehow made the list. I personally feel, this is one of the last factions which should be in the main mod since in this time period, they became really strong under maga. Not only that, they have a really interesting start position. Sadly there is no plan of its integration in the main mod. I had created a unit mod for them. But, magas' of Cyrene (he is a guy on twc with this name) is trying to make them as polished as any dei faction. But if he plns to cancel it, I might take up all his info make it myself since I have learnt .uch since I made my unit mod. If I remember correctly he started this project in 2019 or smth so ye idk when will it be complete.

I voted for Athens, but I also enjoy playing Rhodes.

Do the AFP Hellenes have fully developed rosters? I'm leaning towards Knossos, Lydia or Bithynia (not Hellenes, I know) for my next campaign.
