Issues with EBII's steam launcher - how to resolve.
It has been observed that there are a small number of issues with the Steam launcher provided by the mod. The option 'stop movies' does not work nor do the date and seasons display above the min map. The log is also set to default values.
This is due to the launch option used which totally ignores the mod's configuration file.
Solution: simply use the 'non steam' desktop short cut - it's steam compatible.
If you have deleted the non steam desktop shortcut then proceed as follows:
1. Right click EBII's steam desktop shortcut and choose 'open file location'
2. Browse to the mods\EBII sub directory
3. Right click the launch.bat file and choose 'send to\desktop'
4. optional - rename the new desktop shortcut
5. Use the new desktop shortcut to start EBII
If you have activated the movie option in the steam launcher then this will take effect now as well. Be aware that reversing the movie option can't be done with the steam launcher and will have to be done manually by setting the movies value from false to true.
The steam launcher will be removed from the next full installation.
