Also yes, the horde emergence script DEFINITELY was the culprit. The Nabatu became dispossessed nomads once turn 78 started.

On that note Sparta shouldn't get any phalangitai until the Aigiad reforms (currently they get them once a Greek League Founder State government is built there).

It really depends on your pc. My older pc would take 40/50 minutes to process the hording stuff, my current one just takes some minutes.

That's different, because it comes from the government, not the polis. Also because it's imitating the Hellenistic Colony, which again has different rules to the polis. It's not coming about because of natural changes in the place (which is what happens with polis recruitment), but an imposed policy from the central authority.

Is there still going to be an "R3'?

Quick question - How many turns does it take for the garrison script to replenish?

The capital city garrison script that spawns troops.

Oh, I thought you were talking about the garrison duty one those two factions have.

10 turns is the cooldown for the capital city garrison script.

Yes, we do. If you want to dip into Illyria on your way, there's also the Elite Skaplinai, who are slinger-axemen.

    Bug or not?
I'm unable to build a hellenistic polis in Ptolomais Theron
    - it is a city
    - a minor hellenistic polis
    - it has a market
    - it has a supervised hellenistic administration
    - and 59% hellenistic culture.

But you can build Hellenistic polis, even a metropolis, in Afghanistan?! Eritrea is far closer to Greece than Afghanistan.

Thats because of Baktria, its a hellenic city, its easier to get hellenic population from the local Baktria, than getting a bunch of colonists to go from Alexandria to Ethiopia.

I know that but the hellenic population there didn't fall from the sky. My point is that if you can drag enough Greeks for a polis through half of Asia then you can certainly ship enough for one down the red sea, especially considering that you can build a minor one. Many people call Eritrea the Greece of Africa.

I think the justification is partly historic - Afghanistan had a large hellenised population and was the nucleus of a very large Indo-Greek kingdom whose influence spread syncretic Greco-Buddhist artistic motifs (Heracles/Nio) as far as Japan. The area around Ethiopia, comparatively, was never really hellenised and retained its own culture (afaik).
