Marian Numbered Legions Problem ?

It's 650 AUC in my Rome H/H 0 turn campaign, I have all of the western Roman Empire under my control, building up before the civil war.

I am using this AOR map from the files as a guide:



I have the following legions:

I Germanica
II Augusta
III Gallica
III Augusta
V Aulaude
VI Ferrata F.C.
VII Claudia P.F.
VIII Augusta
IX Hispaniensis
X Gemina
XI Claudia P.F.
XIII Gemina

The ancillaries for all have spawned in Rome for a general with no traits that I have kept there for that purpose.

However on the AOR map for these settlements the following legions are listed in red, which I assume means they are Marian legions:

Edessa, V Macedonica



Apollonia, XV Apollonaris



In those two I've built all of the corresponding buildings. Edessa shows no legions, Apollonia shows the VIII but not the XV.

No ancillaries for the V Macedonica or the XV have shown up on my ancillary-less general in Rome.


A Legio XIII is shown in Ariminium that I have not seen either:



Also, I'm building up Gadir to raise Legio VI Victrix Pia Fidelis, as it's written in red on the AOR map and I had assumed it was a Marian legion. Now I assume I've wasted my time.


Is this something I've done wrong ?

Everything else for the mod seems to be working fine, could a bad install mess this up ?

Edit: Checking the text file in the AOR map folder, it seems the listed legions I've already got are the only Marian Legions. Is the AOR map out dated then ?

Edit II: Here's the save, but in the text file in the AOR map folder it states there are only 12 marian, pre-principate legions; is there something about what I've described that's bugged ?

I uploaded it, yeah it's the latest patch, which I thinkg is RS 3.0.

I'm sure I was mistaken though; there are only 12 post marian pre-principate legions, aren't there ?

I've uploaded the save, do you mean restart my campaign ? If it's somehow bugged I'll just continue of give up. I've been on this campaign for weeks.

The Imperial reforms that will happen when you have built the Circus Maximus in rome (in your save in the next 27 turns as you have it in the build que in Rome) give you the next ancillares and the Legio VI Victrix Pia Fidelis if i rember with their Lora Segmentia armor

ooops should have also said the Imperial legions and auxileries it give you too in the Imperial reforms, nice use of forts on the borders by the way in your save
