Sound issues?

I just purchased the game and am experiencing an issue where the sound cuts in and out during the opening cinematic as well as gameplay. I have tried everything to resolve it, it occurs on headphones as well as speakers. Drivers are up to date. I checked the official forums and found some others experiencing the issue but no solutions. Figured I would post here as it pretty much makes the game unplayable

I just get some brief stuttering when the battle map pops up. I suspect it's a processor issue.
