I've had the total war games quite a while now and I have always been intimidated by the start of the game does a have any tips or tutorials that they would recommend

There is a lot of good guide videos in Youtube about Total War Warhammer. For example






The start of the campaign really depends a lot which lord and faction you choose, but in general you should always get moving and conquering as fast as you can since the enemy stacks will only grown in time. Also developing settlements with a plan to carry your faction into mid and late game is always a good idea, dont build buildings what you might need in the next turn but what you benefit for the next 10 turns or even the rest of the game.
