Iceni army suggestions
I am starting an Iceni campaign and I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions on army composition.
Do I just spam Swordsmen and chariots? What is Iceni strongest advantage?
What is the most effective way to use those spearmen-slingers?

I am playing them now. I use mostly swords, faction Merck’s are fun.
I use the slingers in one fire group that focuses on enemy missile troops one at a time. A few volleys and they are routed. If there are a lot of enemy missile troops, I split them am have them move with flankers at the start.

Slinger archer, chariots and some good swordsmen will be good enough for Gallic and brittanic eniemies. But u would need some good melee infantry mercs for factions like rome and greeks

I am having much more fun than I expected. I like the subtle differences between Nobles, Druids and Sword masters. And faction mercenaries is such a fun mechanic.
When I asked about the most effective way to use slinger-spearmen I meant how often do you actually let them use their spears.
