Default Tsardoms Total War - Historical Events

Tsardoms Total War presents all new historical events which will impact the gameplay. From Tatar raids to earthquakes and from Polish invasions to Ottomans crossing into Europe there will be plenty of events to keep the player busy.

A new introductory event shows the requirements for the Holy Roman Emperor and the King of the Romans titles.

At the start date Louis of Bavaria holds the title of Holy Roman Emperor and Charles of Moravia holds the title of King of the Romans. These two characters must die in order for the player to be able to obtain either of these two titles.

The Black Death now has a Yes/No Option. You can play with or without the Black Death.

For people worried that they will lose generals to the Black Death an easy way around it is to get them out of settlements and keep them in the field or in forts.

The Venetians are besieging the rebel city of Zara in 1345. The citizens of Zara have requested for the help of the Hungarian King Lajos the Great.

The Tatars have raided Transylvania and Upper Hungary. Two Tatar armies are now near Kassa and Beszterce. One of them under the Tatar general Athlamos. The Hungarians will need to deal with these Tatar raiders first.

An Imperial Election takes place in 1346 where Charles of Moravia is crowned Holy Roman Emperor as rival to Emperor Louis of Bavaria.

Two consecutive earthquakes hit areas of Italy in 1348 and 1349

The Polish invade Halych in 1349

The Ottomans cross into Europe in 1352 under a deal with the Kantakouzenoi during the Roman Civil War

An earthquake hits the city of Gallipoli in 1354 destroying its walls and leaving vulnerable to Ottoman occupation.

The next turn there will be Ottoman stacks spawned near Gallipoli and in Thrace.

There is now also an event which will notify the player when Constantinople has fallen.

We haven't got that far. But we do have an event for Louis the Great getting elected King of Poland. Hungary gets to recruit some sweet Polish knights.

I did not doubt for a moment your guys have it all thought out- awesome
In my rather chaotic campaign I'm attempting to establish Despotates in important strategic locations. Varna and Vdin for example. .. ready to resist Ottomans.
Regarding marriage it would be cool to show intermarriage between families/dynasties Assen, Shissman married into Roman, Serbian families

    I need more Princesses

You should be able to train princesses in your capital. You can use those to marry nobles with family trees or do diplomatic stuff. But yes we don't have spawned princesses within the families, so it's up to luck whether your nobles get princesses as babies in their families which is pretty damn rare from experience.

I seem to have a lack of princess after Tzar Dusan passed and Uros the leadership is chaotic and need to get a leading Boyar family to establish themselves

I'm on turn 185 the Ottomans have taken most of Thrace attacked Romania and Hungary.

No, not yet. Perhaps in the future. We have not focused on events for the Ottomans other than the takeover of Gallipoli. The Ottomans do have lots of trouble with the Timurid invasion though.

The Ottomans don't need anymore trouble at beginning it's a little later you wish you could have stopped them at birth.
I imagine Europe thought the same thing

The Mamluk one? Yes. But the Ottoman probably not. Because we can't know if the Ottoman faction will still be alive at that point in the game or if the Hospitallers even own Rhodes at that point. There are too many variables. But if the Ottoman faction gets strong enough maybe the AI will send some armies in Rhodes.
