I'd really love the Total War with action time around that of Thrones of Britannia and with a map of M2 Teutonic campaign + Scandinavia. Basically the Viking age in middle Europe, with Saxons, the Norse, the Polish, Baltic and Ruthean tribes as well as the Avars.

Gameplay-wise there is nothing historical I can think of to remain , as Ancient ,Medieval ,eastern and firarm warfares all been covered already. However there some Eras of history not visited yet. Like pre-roman/greek times. 19th century as well

Supposedly CA is hiring a 3D artist to model vehicles and hard surfaces for a new flagship entry to the Total War franchise. It would be interesting if they steered away from the current formula of masses of troops constantly next to each other and explored something like WW1. I think it's possible, considering that they had a lot of experimentation with effects and units in Warhammer.

Vehicles could mean chariots or just basic siege engines. I doubt WW1 would "work" with TW mechanic, especially since modern CPUs could hardly represent scale and mass of WW1 battles.

Renaissance era could be a good option as it mixes melee weapons, pikes and gunpowder beside the history itself. Bring back some features from Med 2 for the management of your kingdom and that's it

More or less this. I always though 1700 was a weird start-date for Empire and it would be much more interesting to start a 100-200 years earlier. Especially to have a tech-tree that gradually went from gunpowder being useful supporting units that needed to be carefully protected to the very center of any military engagement.

Well, 3K1 isn't saga, but 3K2 will probably be. The latest saga is Troy which wasn't that bad, but still...As a TW Eras title (aka Historical series) 3K is quite good IMO.
Not into Warhammer, at all. So I really hope their next Historical title will be something fresh and extensive.
