Demetrios Poliorketes (General Discussion)

Demetrios Poliorketes is a scenario overhaul for the Wrath of Sparta DLC, starting in 294 B.C. when Demetrios I (the Besieger) ascended to the throne of Macedon. It focuses on the conflicts of the Diadochoi, with many monarchs vying for overall control of the Greek speaking world. This mod aims to offer a deeper experience, while retaining the feeling of Rome II's vanilla gameplay. I aimed for a high degree of historical accuracy, there however a few liberties taken here and there for the sake of gameplay.

There are 10 playable factions, a reworked recruitment system, Banditry&Plagues from Empire Divided, Government actions similar to Rise of the Republic, Foreign Cultural Influences, the Gallic Invasion of Brennus, region buyout and more!

For a detailed breakdown of all campaign mechanics it is recommended to read this thread. The mods also adds dozens of new buildings, with new chains and expanded vanilla ones, a lot of new units (both regular and mercenaries) there is quite a bit of new content to familiarize yourself with, apart from the new campaign mechanics.

Yeah it is this resource pack, thanks for the heads up, will change the credit list accordingly.
