"Les Pays De France" (France is broken into ten different factions before it became a unified country) link is down until next version

most up to date version with almost all ui, unit cards, buildings, unit info cards, events etc...

here is the download link (remember this is just a beta I would like too have an even better release before summer!)

just unzip too desktop then copy the france folder into your mods folder located in your medieval II folder (if you have Kingdoms or any other mods you will see their folders there, you are in the right place!)
open the france folder and press the executable.Bat file (or optionally right click on it and create shortcut and then move that shortcut too your desktop) have fun!

here are my thoughts so far! Now I will try criticize your and such but will give you feedback:

1. i know this is a beta version and all that but you need new banners for all factions ( i know it takes a long time to make them )
2. wales does not need the byzantine colors and banners
3. is it possible to add the holy roman empire during this time?
4. can i use geomod tool for this mod?
5. all units colors looks odd to me... idk if this is intended or not
6. the coast line needs to be more polished bc i have problems doing that in my patch that I am creating
7. you could possibly add the burgundians as part of the mod bc they existed until after 13th century
8. more diverse and variety of units would make each faction stand out
9. banners needs to be more polished

first, thank you for testing and giving feedback~ perhaps some screenshots and feedback on gameplay itself~

as to your thoughts
both the HRE and Burgundy are in Game already, The HRE is unplayable and Le Duchie` Burgun` is supposed to be Burgundy
I intend on correcting colors and "fleshing" Wales out more! as with all the un--playable factions and make them playable too
I will improve banners
yes it is geo-mod compatible
the color schemes are intended
I am open too more units but was not planning on them~

Please keep playing and if possible some screenshots would be nice and more feedback!

( I am also open to may be enlarging the map to include all of Britain and Ireland and adding both playable Ireland and Scotland as factions)

I have enough room to enlarge the map and in and add two more factions
my ideas please choose one let me know which sounds best~

1. enlarge northward and ad ireland and all of britain with factions of Scotland and Ireland respectively~
2. enlarge southwestward and add more of Iberia and "Corona de Leon Castilla" and the "Moors"
or 3. expand eastward and include Milan and the Swiss

let me know 1,2, 0r 3
and I will not add more units I want the mod too have a more "realistic" feel for the kinda of troops available at the time~

IN TERMS OF EXPANDING THE MAP I think go east and Milan and the Swiss thus giving "more" room also for the Hre play around in~

I have decided I am gonna leave French factions as they are, remove EL condando De Barcelone but leave the Navarre and add the Caliphate of Cordoba controlling most of the Iberian part of the map, remove England, wales and Cornwall and leave Britain with only one un-playable faction the "Saxon tribes" expand the map enough too add Milan and the Swiss
game will start at 850 a.d. now and go to 1100 a.d. 500 turns new parameters are width 310 height 290 170 regions

expanded the map, and set and layed all regions and put in game The Caliphate of Cordoba, The Swiss and Ducato De Milano also made the HRE Playable

the Swiss and Switzerland so far~ Remember all factions except the HRE and Caliphate of Cordoba (both of them start with like 7~) only start with one city and one castle I gave the Swiss other settlements to help preview the area I will remove ownership again)
