I spend a lot of time in the screenshot competition forum and I have been following Morticia Iunia Bruti's screenshot thread for many months. It was during one of these reviews
that I noticed she was also a modder with a rather impressive list of projects starting in 2015, with 17 available here on TWC and 23 listed on the Steam community.

These modification are a mixture of reskins, maps and faction makeovers. A truly eclectic collection. Rather than list them all individually here, I ask you to visit the links to these collections above. An impressive lot for sure.

I encourage the Curia to award the Legio 501st Medal (Silver) to this deserving modder.

I wasn't even aware this award existed. Quick question don't you have to get bronze first, or can the Curia give out any level? Asking because the description is identical for all 3.


Anyway, support if silver can be issued directly without the need for bronze first.

The Pic thread and mods look more than good for Artifex to me. Maybe even Opifex, I didn't delve that deep.

MIB also has some intersting preferences in music...

Ill pull up some links, it was a medal class for modders who made contributions but maybe not in the class of Opifex. The only one awarded so far is Gigantus for some reason. The description applies to anyone working modifications or in those forums it seems. There should be many more of these out there.

Awarded by the Curia for one or more of the following: creating a detailed and original tutorial containing relevant media (screenshots, video, code snippets), releasing a minor mod involving at minimum a single modding section (units, scripting, mapping, animations, sounds, media) of work estimated to have taken more than 5 hours or a remarkable act that benefits TWC modding community.

Hmm.

I ran through one of the unit mods, just the one as I was at work, and I was thinking these are pretty impressive, though I'm no expert on reskins for R2. Throw in the screenshot thread and MIB being a generally good poster. I'm leaning towards strong candidate for citizenship.

But my stance to citizenship hasn't changed. I don't need it to contribute further to the site.

Excellent, then Im sure many others feel the same way and will support this proposal.

Precedent shows the gold version being awarded as a standalone medal. Arguments in the proposal thread also support this idea.

She is citizen in all but name actually. I use the Ancient Women mod in the past. (TWC does a crappy job for women in the game even for 3K).
I think we will have to "canonize her as an Opifex, this way she can forgo "citizenship." LOL

I dunno as I haven't followed her mod threads much, but if this kind of work is acceptable for silver then I am little skeptic. Although, bronze is okay I suppose.


I also want to mention another strong candidate for silver and that's Bran Mac Born, if not gold and he really deserves it.

The only one awarded so far is Gigantus for some reason.

There were elements in the Curia who wanted to make it more functional, as its sloppy execution and nebulous design were troubling ever since it was actually executed - at which point it still had slight momentum, which was dedicated to the most obvious choice at the time.

All efforts from there dematerialized, leaving us with now.
