    Default Events don't trigger and there come no new units

    I played 140 turns into a late Castille campaign and I am suprised for the lack of trebuchets, sword-and-buckle-men and other troops. I went into the files and saw several events that never were triggered and troops I should have gotten access to 100 turns ago. Atleast I got Pavise Crossbows.

    I edited the descr_events.txt and gave several events triggers 1, 2, 3, and 4 and none of them triggered. I think something might be wrong.

    Any idea what it might be and how to fix it?

    Upload the file, I'd have a look. However, it looks like you're modding a wrong file - not the one that the game uses at the moment (maybe in another folder? or it's overwritten meanwhile?)
    In my experience from modding EDCT, the base SS6.4 contained quite a few errors (see eg here) so I've stopped playing it years ago.

    You don't say, recently updated to the latest version, now princesses don't marry if you get them married through deplomacy and if you change they keys and restart the game, the keys have reverted to their original form.

    Similar situation playing through my first time in stainless 6.4. At year 1252 and no Mongols, no Teutonic order, no advanced troops... Checked the cfg and value was set to 0... Help!
