    Default Guide for Rome

    JMJ -

Is there a guide for factions? Currently playing as Rome and not understanding a few things. I just triggered the Marian Reforms in 242, not sure how since Rome was still upgrading to a huge city. After the reforms how do I get slingers or archers? All I can get for skirmishers are Latin Velites. Playing the Platinum Edition, is that the most current one or is it 8 v4.0? Thanks, it is a lot of fun and it looks fantastic. I never really cared for using the pre-Marian armies in Vanilla because you just weren't going to have them for long. But in this mod I was actually having fun using the armies I had, until I triggered the reform somehow.

Yes, it does, it covers the entire area of Rome's expansion from 270 to 14 AD.
