Much better to sanction Americans by shutting down domestic energy projects than to risk offending a country which refuses to meet its minimum defense obligations and facilitates Russia’s fossil fuel exports.

    Stunning leadership.
As already noted what domestic production on Keystone? Maybe you are confusing say the arctic national refuge drilling for a Canadian oil delivery system?

The problem remains that Russian gas is cheaper than importing LNG. Unless you planning on subsidizing LNG to Germany you not really going to alter the nearly completed pipeline.

The majority of Keystone XL infrastructure (in contrast to NS2) will pass through the US. The pipeline will transport American produced oil as well as Canadian to American refineries.

Opposition to KSXL is primarily environmental, not economic. Legio_Italica's point that it has become a focal point for liberal theatrics over climate change is correct.

This whole north stream 2 charade is on behalf of the US Fracking Industry to increase US Exports into EU.

In the US environmental issues are especially hard to ever resolve because unlike most of Europe we only have 2 political parties, and one of them has a large population who contrary to evidence will continue to double down on science denialism. As a result our politicians are not debating how to reduce the negative outcomes of climate change, but whether we as a society should accept science as being a valid source of data. Tbf to the GOP they also are often anti-math. True story

Over 20 states are suing the Xiden dictatorship over cancelation of the Keystone pipeline:

We all suspected of course. It had like 30% chance to happen, it is not that lucky a guess.

It is primary intent is to deliver for export.

Step away from the Company and industry propaganda.

Cornell did a fine study on the project and its free on line

    https://archive.ilr.cornell.edu/site..._Reportpdf.pdf.

[Note let me know if the link works it does for me but there two pages to get to the PDF - if it is failing I will edit in the original front page. You just go thorough a couple buttons.]

In any case the states are likely wasting more money than would ever get for the pipeline.

Trump supporters claim they aren't racist even though they express nothing but hateful contempt for people of other races solely because of their skin color. They also think it unfair to call them misogynists even though they would never consider treating a man the way they treat Harris.

If he has a flaw, it's that Biden is naive to what Republicans have become. He thinks bipartisanship is still possible when it's obvious most Republican politicians would happily see the country reduced to ashes as long as they benefited, and the average Republican voter thinks he's a usurper and wants a Trump family monarchy.

What racist slur? There's no racist slur there. As usual you see racism in everything. It's your problem. Not mine.

I agree. Those of us who aren’t racists have a problem with racism and it is not the problem of those who are openly, proudly racist.

Joshua Hall is being charged with wire fraud and aggravated identity theft for his scheme, according to a complaint. Wire fraud has a maximum sentence of 20 years, and aggravated identity theft has a mandatory sentence of two years.
The scheme began around September 2019 and ended in December 2020 when Hall allegedly created a fake political organization claiming to be raising money for Trump's reelection.
Hall used a crowdfunding website and pretended in July 2020 that former president Trump's sibling, presumably Robert Trump, was helping with the organization.
“Josh is doing great work so please give him a follow and support him!” Hall said on the fake account of Robert Trump, according to the complaint.
When Robert Trump died, Hall created a fake account for former President Trump’s youngest son, Barron, and had that account post, “Josh is an amazing patriot who is doing tremendous things for our great country. He has my COMPLETE AND TOTAL ENDORSEMENT!”
Hall ended up allegedly scamming hundreds of people out of thousands of dollars that he used for personal expenses.
Honestly they shouldn't give these people their money back. They'd just give it to another scammer like the born suckers they are.

Why reading more than the headline or simply knowing what’s going on pays off. Now Joe will continue talks with the Bipartisan group of senators that actually matters. The talks with the GOP negotiators was just process politics. Both sides stressing Bipartisanship is still an option almost guarantees the result Joe was said to be looking for from the start. 1.5 trillion. Light tax hikes on corps and the Uber rich.

Even if all this wasn’t so Joe only needs Joe and Joe’s poverty stricken state wants the infrastructure bill.

    Consider yourself schooled.
