where can i download rtr 7.0

just installed rtr 1.6 but where can i get the latest patch for the game 7.0 ive heard it is please give me a link

LOL....Its not released yet Edward, so far IIRC the projected target date is Q2 2007. Dont take my word for it though as I'm not a developer or anything. But I am however 100% sure that RTR7.0 is still as of time of writing unreleased. You really dont have to search far to realize this. RTR Gold is for RTW 1.2 (or was it 1.3?) and is not compatible with the 1.5/1.6 BI.exe patch. If you want what is essentially an improved RTR Gold for your 1.5 RTW .exe/1.6 BI .exe game, then wait a few days for RTRPE 1.8. That should give you something to do while the RTR team finalizes 7.0

the way ive installed all the mods etc.. is this
fresh install of rtw1.0 then the 1.3 patch then the 1.5 patch and finnally the rtr 1.6 patch

is this the latest version of the game ???
if not which other 1s do i nead?

That is not what you meant I presume. For the latest version of RTW/BI you need to go like this(assuming you have RTW v1.0 and BI v1.4):
1. RTW v1.0
2. BI v1.4
3. BI v1.6 patch

Actually, I dont think you need to apply a 1.4 patch before the 1.6 florin. I have the activision 3cd version of RTW, and it went in as RTW 3cd install, then BI install, then a patch which basically made BI .exe into 1.6. Oh and same patch also upgrades RTW .exe to 1.5.

What you fail to see is that before installing the BI v1.6 patch you obviously need to install BI. And the version for BI found separately from the RTW is always v1.4.
I was not talking about a BI v1.4 patch. Especially since it doesn`t exist. The lowest form of BI is v1.4.

I was talking about the game itself. And as I`ve said, the BI that comes on a separate disk is v1.4 almost for sure. The BI that comes already patched to v1.6 is that from RTW Gold Edition and that is installed automatically after RTW so you don`t need to worry about it at all. I was referring to the possibility where the man .... let me quote:

assuming you have RTW v1.0 and BI v1.4

(on separate disks of course)

Anyway, the guide I posted a link to above deals with all the possible combinations of versions which you might have.

so seeing how i havent got this bi expansion is this rtr 1.6 mod the latest version of the game i can download or is there a newer version ?

It dosent really matter persay, having BI just lets you use BI specific mods. As of now, if you've updated to the latest sega patch, you can only really install versions of RTRPE, which is a mod of the mod RTR Gold, since RTR Gold isnt compatible with the latest sega patch. RTRPE is basically RTR Gold for people who have updated their RTW to v1.5,with a few improvements. Now, if you want to play RTR7, which is the next big thing in total realism, you might want to think about shelling out 20 dollars or so to aqquire BI. IIRC, RTR7 will be for the BI .exe, and take advantage of the engine that the BI .exe offers.
