Installation Guide Issue

So in the installation guide where it says under 3. Additional "O/S Specific" Mandatory Instructions

[Windows 10]
1) Create a new folder on your desktop

2) Download DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010).

3) Run the exe file that you downloaded and extract it into the new folder

4) Run the exe from the extracted contents in the new folder to install

5a) For 64 bit Operating Systems:
Install Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package (x64) first
Then install Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package (x64) second

5b) For 32 bit Operating Systems:
Install Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package (x86) first
Then install Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x86) second

I've gotten to the part where I'm to download Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package (x64), but the links given in the guide are no longer working (they lead to an error page). It appears that you can still find the files available via Google (Microsoft seems to have changed the download ID).

Is it absolutely necessary to install these, or can I skip it and the mod will run/install fine?

We don't include unnecessary instructions, those are included because Windows 10 is funny about old games.

Looks like we'll have to find an alternative source for those files.
