    Default quick but recommended fix

    Hello everybody,

I found an error in campaign_script that is easy to fix. I'll explain the process here, because this file is modified by KCC and other submods so it is quicker and easier that players fix it themselves, and modders can also apply this to their files for future releases.

    How to:

    - go to the folder SS6.3/data/world/maps/campaign/imperial_campaign/
    - make a copy of the file, just in case!
    - open the file and seach for "wait_monitors". There is two occurences, delete the one that is in the middle of the file (so NOT the one at the end).
    - do the same for "end_script"
    -
save the file, changes will appear on new games only.

    What does it do?

The parts of the script that were between the faulty wait_monitors and end_script were not firing, so a few scripts were not working as intended. Mainly the church title system (patriarch, antipope and so on).

The quick fix is no longer necessary for anybody who would now (in 2021) download the SSHIP 097 version G - the two changes are made there.

If you want to play a historical mod in the medieval setting the best are:
Stainless Steel Historical Improvement Project and Broken Crescent.
Recently, Tsardoms and TGC look also very good. Read my opinions on the other mods here.
