    Gromovnik,

    If you're asking if I vote the answer is yes. Do I show Christian love in my daily life? I hope so.

    No, I wasn't asking anything. You claimed that you would like to see political parties banned by the head of state.

    Gromovnik,

    No, I was suggesting one political party that being the SNP.

    Oh, I apologise. You want the head of state to ban a party you disagree with.
    I hope God, Jesus, and prince Andrew will forgive me for my disgusting and slanderous lie.

    Gromovnik,

    Why did you say that because I never accused you of lying? What's God and Jesus got to do with Prince Andrew? Anyway my remarks on the subject were off the cuff personal feelings I have for the SNP because they want to break up the nation I love.

    1. Don't vote for them if you don't want to;
    2. Prince Andrew is God's chosen, and he's obviously better than all of us lowly commoners. He's an exemplary human being, if he will forgive me for calling him a mere human.

    Gromovnik,

    The problem is not my vote rather all the votes of people taken in by their promises, promises they can't keep. As for Andrew I can't defend him because I don't know just how deeply he was involved with Epstein. What I do know is that he served his country in battle at the Falklands and outside of the Epstein affair has not put a foot wrong. That said, if he did have sex with underage girls he should have come clean for the honour of his family and or gone into an American court to face his accusers.

    Yeah, if we're goint to ban anyone who makes promises from running in the elections, then it's easier to just cancel the elections.

    Gromovnik,

    There's one thing in making promises and another in keeping them. Scotland receives money from England via the Barnett formula meaning that if it didn't have that we'd be in a right mess for our economy right now is in defecit. We survive because the UK government keeps plonking more money into our system. As things go wrong our leaders blame the English something that has become as natural as breathing. If indepence ever happened what will happen to my nephews and grand nephews who were born in England and what will happen to the English people here? Are they to be driven out? What will happen when the English, Welsh and Irish soldiers, sailors and airmen leave the bases we have for their factor in our economy is large? 2.3 million people will be left to support some five.four million already having a huge defecit. The strangest thing about this freedom they seek is that it is not freedom at all, rather joining the EU to be ruled by them. I'm a Scot and proud of it but I'm also British and proud of that.

    Never implied I was Welsh but I do have Irish blood in me going all the way back to Niall of the Nine Kingdoms.

    The fact that you UK guys have derailed the thread, without being Englishmen even, already makes me see you as villains. See? It happens as fast as that.

    Derc,

    Yes, isn't it amazing how an off the cuff remark like banning the SNP can turn one into a villain. So I have only Irish and Scots blood in my veins but my grand nieces and grand nephews have English, Scots and Irish in their veins.
