    Default mercenairies' skins

where can i find some mercenenary skins?
i'm currently playing SPQR (great mod) but some of the mercenaries' skins are a bit bored or not modded, so i wonder if there's a skin package for mercenaries i can use. (SPQR is based on the 1.5 patch)

You should download Webbird's complete skinpack (which inlsude reskins for the mercs) and Al Cord's merc unit cards pack.

Check the downloads section on this site - you may need to go back a year or so. I think they were originally developed for 1.2, but will work fine with later versions. In the case of AlCord, it may be quicker to just do a user search, because i don't think he's made too many posts.

I think that the mercenaries he's bored with are the mercenaries of warspite since many mods have them and they re along time around

My mistake. I forgot it was warsprite and not webbird who did those - back at that time they were both so prolific.

As far as new skins go, you could try downloading RTR and raiding its unit files. You'll have to manually install, but they've got a great selection of new mercs. The Thracian and Italian areas of the map are particularly well represented with mercs and AOR units.
