Trouble editing startpos to play as a emergent

I recently started messing with IDM and VDM and really like the change in game play the two mods added. However recently I have wanted to play as Mexico, I tried editing the startpos.esf file but been having trouble. Some of the Faction IDs, names, and starting/capital provinces are all mixed up for emergent factions. When I first tried to activate Mexico and make it playable I ended up with Kandy being added to the list of playable countries and its capital was set to new_spain rather than Ceylon. I tried looking through other the factions and seeing if they Mexico info mixed up in there but I have had no luck. If anyone here can help me find the faction ID for mexico it would be very much appreciated.
