Welcome esteemed guests to another week of Picture and Video Competition announcements. As always I am your host Turk. Hope you are comfortable. Let's begin with our first winner of this week.
The winner of GPOTW 182 is Aexodus. Aexodus snatches away the win with another brilliant shot of the Ghost of Tsushima accompanied this time with a weapon that is more deadly than a katana. He brought a dog, mankind's greatest friend and weakness, for who can resist the powers of the dog. This heartwarming shot of the Ghost and the hound has won all the hearts of the TWC populace. Well played Aex. For your victory you earn a competition point bringing your total to 9 competition points. This indeed means you are accepted into the Order of the Picturesque Photographer. With it you gain a shiny new medal. You've earned it!
The winner of UESW 513 is Abdülmecid I. A castle encircled by a frosty lake is a formidable stronghold indeed. The assailants must brave the icy waters before they can hope to gain entry to the fortress. Protected by cannon towers the defenders have many advantages. Only one will walk away victorious. Congratulations Abdülmecid I on your win!
The winner of UESW 514 is Derc and Turkafinwë. "Ave Caesar, morituri te salutant! ✋" the Roman soldiers cried, and death did the Romans find in the Gallic forests. There was no end to the Arverni hordes and Caesar had to flee the field to fight another day. Meanwhile in the faraway lands of the Baltic, Teutonic brothers and Polish nobles fought for control of the pagan lands of the East. Congrats on the win Derc (and me, pat yourself on the back when you read this. )
The winner of VOTM 82 is manoul. Blue-faced Britons face off against the mighty legions of Rome in an epic struggle to retain their homelands. The fierceness of the Celtic natives to Britannia is admirable and the sheer ferocity of their warriors is enough to still the blood of any man. The Romans have their discipline tested as warcries in foreign harsh tongues are hurled towards them and savage dogs maul at their faces. Yet in the end Rome prevails and the Celts flee to hide in their forests. Another wonderful video manoul and your second competition point. One more and you will receive the bronze medal!
With all winners announced we must say our farewells. As always I thank all of you for your participation. You are truly wonderful. See you next week!
