Icon5 Vote required for the next AAR, all welcome.

Hello, hello, hello! One and all.

For my latest AAR attempt, and one I really do hope to actually finish, I've decided to go with a bit of an AU for a change - how you ask? Well, by using the absolutely wonderful SOMNIVM APOSTATAE IVLIANI and/or RESTITVTOR ORBIS mod!

As you can probably anticipate, I have selected Augustii who had their reigns cut short in one fashion or another, and it is my intention to see if I can't give them a little bit longer to live and a bit more of a story to tell.

Below are my options (and I am asking for a vote because, in all honesty, I really cannot make a choice by myself here!) and I shall allow two choices for anyone who wishes to vote in this advisory poll.

    Many thanks.

Which option will have you including screenshots this time?

I'd probably say Constantius or Carinus. The former would afford you more scope to explore the eastern provinces, which I think are more interesting (or at least less written about here) than the west, whilst the latter has some interesting dynamics with Diocletian, which would provide a good narrative hook. Although if I'm allowed to choose something not on the list, I'd also love to see your take on Septimius Antiochus

You are more than welcome to suggest anyone I'm capable of playing within the specified mods, of course; I also didn't realise that Claudius II is scripted to die... which sort of screws that option up.

EDIT: As for screenshots... I can't promise that, you know this.

I'd vote for Carinus or Procopius. Usurpers are always an interesting start for an AAR to see what might have happened had they succeeded in their usurpation.

So you're talking about a Rome1 TW mod, right?
I'm down with any and all of them, and I'll therefore give my vote to the character you, McScottish, personally are the most inspired about.
