I saw some complaints logged over at the "Are you left or right?" thread, and decided to give folks an opportunity with 6 rather than 2 options.

hard to say leftist and rightist when you put Hitler Opposite Stalin on the spectrum, afterall both were authoritarian, but hitler was more right wing economically, and stalin very left wing economically.

I voted beyond classification. My political beliefs are broadly speaking Left Wing Anarchist, but not necessarily conventional Left Wing in the common sense. I'm not quite as hard line left economically.

I voted leftist, but this also depends on what country you are living in. Many Conservatives in Canada would be called raging Liberals in the US.

I voted left, and you are very right (no pun intended) or were paying attention when Rush called me a 'raging Liberal'. It still miffs me a bit even now.

Leftist, while I acknowledge most people have a combination of beliefs from both sides of the spectrum I think the mindset of those on the left differs from those on the right and as such the left-right spectrum is adequate.

I think you'll find most people have a mixed world view, yet overall they either have the mindset of the left (i.e relativism) or that of the right (i.e absolutes).
