Thread: Modding unit upkeep but not one at the time

Default Modding unit upkeep but not one at the time

Is there possibility just to mod all unit upkeep -50%.
I play Divide et Impera mod plus my little sub mod. I find upkeep prices too high because I want historically accurate numbers of legions and men in my armies so for that upkeep must go down. I need to be able to muster 80 000 troops army by 216 BC but for that I need to lower upkeep and doing it one unit at the time is lots of work.

    Thnx.

I'm no modder, so apologies in advance if this is a stupid idea, but could you perhaps replicate the global effect of a wonder or technology or something, perhaps as a non-displayed faction trait for some or all factions? e.g. Take as a base something like Carthage's "Mercenary Armies: -25% mercenary upkeep costs" or House Cornelia's "All Will Serve: -50% upkeep cost for all auxiliary units"

    All the Best,

In main units tables, select all values in the upkeep row, make sure sorting isn't enabled(That you haven't clicked a row to make it alphabetically sorted), right click the selection > Apply Expression- and put in x * 0.50 if you wish to halve it.
