Dear Subforum,
I've been tinkering with a mod that removes Dignitaries and Champions from the game. In Player hands, 90% of the time these units are just passive stat sticks, with Dignitaries buffing income/PO and Champions building army XP. Removing them from the game cleans up AI Agent spam, speeds up turn times, and is one less chore for the player is keep track of.
I want to keep Spies because, with DEI's changes, they are fun and have more active and diverse roles.
Here's the problem: While I was able to remove agents from the player through the fame tables, for some reason the AI was still able to field many agents. I think they do not adhere to it, and their agent count may be hardcoded.
Could someone suggest a solution, so that the AI and player cannot levy Dignitaries and Champions, and only a limited number of Spies?
