can anyone tell me aobut norman castration pratices? I know they excisted and were often accompanied by blining, was the a nrose holdover, was it to inflict pain, to prevent a dynasty, to incide fear, cause suffering, as a example to others?
How was it done jsut the stones or the shaft as well? or was it romantic and the testies crushed under a weight with no attual insision, who did thease things, an executioner or one of the venicans when did it begin fi not a viking custom, and when did it end and why?
why not just kill the offending individual?
