Yeah i have defragmentation disabled on my PC.
Do it manually.
For the gumsticks, wait until they are full, and you have to empty them.

Never had this problem - I have been using Smart Defrag from IOBit for years. One of the handy features is that it can be set to replace the default win10 defrag app. It also has SSD defragmentation disabled by default, eg it has to be set\executed manually.
That said: only the paid version does automatic defragging of selected drives. The free (and paid) version will inform you of your fragmentation status of your individual drives (selectable) if it exceeds a preset percentage level and then it's a simple click to get the defrag going.
Defragmentation of page files and MFT is possible as well as boot time defrag.

Else go with the recommendation of the linked article: "However, you can sidestep the issue by typing 'Defrag and Optimize Drives' in the Windows 10 search box, then highlight your SSD, click 'Change settings', and uncheck 'run on a schedule'."
