    Hello All!

    Here are some stuff from me:

    1. Improved Battle Camera

    It allows to go both lower and higher during battles, which can let players take much nicer screens and from angles that base game would not allow.

    Useful keys:

    Press "K" to turn off UI for more cinematic view,

    Press "N" in order to zoom without unit disappearing.

    Press Alt + K to get even more cinematic view of the battle.

    2. Immersive Ranged Death Animations

    Were you bothered by seeing guys hit from by arrows just jump 2 meters up in the air?
    Have you said to yourself "This is not how physics work"?
    Have you asked yourself why you see no blood effects of arrows despite owning the DLC?
    Well then this is a mod for you!

    Mod removes over the top and comical animations caused by bows and slings, soldiers wont jump up in the air in weird, often completly random directions.

    Instead, soldiers struck down by projectiles will fall on their kness or their sides and die.

    In addition, soldiers now properly spray blood around if hit by arrows and pebles if you own blood DLC.

    Compatible with:
    -Save Games
    -Mods that don't change projectiles

    3. Dendra Armour for Chariots

    One of first things I noticed was lack of iconic Dendra styler armour on chariot crews.

    This mod changes it, Reinforced Chariots now get proper armours on them!

    In addition, Heavy Trojan Chariots also get heavier stuff!

    Compatible with:
    -All Save Games
    -All mods
    -All patchesunits don't end up exhausted easily. Additionally, resting provides a bit less recovery speed.

    Thank you, KAM. Serious questions: why does every Total War come with such a bad battle camera? Why won't they release a game where we can actually see the troops at eye level?

    KAM, from the first pic I concur you've fallen in love with the classical music and you think a contrabass is the best shield ever?

    I actually wanted to ask you what do you think about this engine (Warhammer aka Troy?) as far as the depiction of combat is concerned?

    Nice work! The spacing thing is actually a gameplay problem too because of the wonky collision in this game. Units sometimes sink into each other. Hopefully this helps, at least for elite units.

    2 more mods added! One for slower units speed and fixed fatigue plus one for reworked morale (at least for now).

    I hate these shields, when you look on the inside of the shield, it is actually hovering in the air as hand is too far away from the handle. Plus it looks like something that weights 20kg or so while "real" shields of these types would be made of wood and leather.

    As for engine, I love Warhammer games from CA and it fits them but I would rather see Three Kingdoms engine for this game since it allowed more complex stuff like mixed units (so you could do stuff like mixed cav and infanry or retinue of elite warriors in front rank and lighter troops in following ranks).

    I think I will be able to fix it once battle_entities table is decoded. Might be too large unit radius.

    thank you for your endless work Kam....
    the vanilla morale running away coming back stuff was reminiscent of day 1 Atilla

    what do you actually think of the AI in battles, I've only had a few smaller battles, but the AI actually seems to be smarter. Then again I've never played Warhammer or 3K, only Rome, Thrones and Atilla...

    AI is quite good, overall AI from Warhammer and above is quite solid. Not sure if that is case in Troy but in 3K we had first ever TW game where battle difficulty actually made AI smarter (tho same that CA still gave AI artificial bonuses so when you play vanilla 3K you can have either bad AI with no bonuses or good BAI but with also artificial bonuses).

    Correct, once tables are decoded, I will work on proper combat for Troy. It might be a bit more extensive than usual Warhammer ones since I've seen some people being able to x2 or even x3 damage of their ranged infantry....which is plain OP.

    Oh, I haven't checked the *pack that deeply yet, but that would explain a lot. Only applied a few minor QoL improvements, tried to get rid of a few bugs and applied the obvious missile_saving & melee_hit_chances, which actually have a decent impact on its own given your morale and to the lesser speed changes. (might even increase missile_saving to 0.32 for the time being, without messing around in other tables)

    And I thought at first, I'd only grab the game for good and be done with it til the release on steam - *shakes fist* it's actually pretty good and fun ^^

    (I still need the veni, vidi, vici achievement anyway with DeI - 2 times a huge update, which I shouldn't have applied, messed that up already and I haven't dabbled in that mod for a very long time - thanks to TW:WII. Now that am hugely motivated for sword & pike battles again...Roma Victor! *cough*)
