Plant seed, produce more of me, plant seed, produce more of me.

    Find cave, sleep, wake up.

Hunt food, eat food, don't become something else's food. Gather food, eat food, don't become someone else's food.

Ow! ing goddamn it. I'm being eaten.

    FIN.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, i.e. the saber-toothed tiger currently eating your face apart.

Try purring instead, that'll show them you're friendly and want to cuddle! You might live still.

So this is how freedom dies. With me not even being able to insult Roma's mother. This is why we need the second amendment. I propose everyone should have the power to ban everyone else.

And now two people have commented on it!

It's a good video supplement to follow up the whole of human prehistory, both the Paleolithic and the Neolithic, by showcasing all of history that came after that too.

My take on the Bronze Age:

    Find tin, find copper
    Mine tin, mine copper
    Smelt tin, smelt copper,
    Make alloy, produce weaponry
    Make bronzes, sell bronzes
    Barter bronzes to recruit soldiers
Use soldiers to conquer new territories
Take over their tin and copper production
    Build palaces, hire scribes
Uh oh, earthquakes and crop failure

Crap, I'm being stabbed by Sea People. Ouch. Stop! No. . I'm dead.

2020 CE or 2020 BCE, the difference is not so big.

    There's a recession? During a pandemic?

No, stop! I need a job! The bank will repossess my home and...crap. I'm in a homeless shelter with COVID and lost employer-based health insurance.

I guess this only makes sense if you're an American. If you live in just about any other Western country then you're fine.

No you don't have to live in Cornwall for that. The trade network in the bronze age world was surprisingly globalised.

That disk has it all. Copper from Austria, tin and gold from Cornwall.

I understand that, I'm just saying that someone has to live in Cornwall.

And who the hell wants to do that?
