The title is straight forward. How can I increase the movement points range in a mod for all characters ? Is there a particular line to modify in the descr_campaigndb or should I add a new line ?
You can change the movement points for each agent type by editing their starting_action_points in descr_character. The starting_action_points line near the top of the file is a default used for path-finding calculations. You should probably leave that unchanged unless you know what you're doing.
Some related tidbit - the higher the starting_action_points default value the longer it takes to generate a map.rwm file. Found that out when releasing PDeR with a zero byte file that forced the game to generate a new map (from the days when modems screeched like tortured cats and download size was measured in MB) while having a pretty high value.
