Charlemagne campaign The Inheritors of Power !

Hi , This is not my first but it 's the third of try play Charlemagne campaign. I found the good start after the first two times campaign was fell ^ ^".

The story , Ep1 Charlemagne start with building stuffs to boots public order and raise an army in western front for secure the lands. Then he laed two armies southward aim to conquere Aquitaine ! The first battle was pretty good result but it's seem very long way to go. Invader on western front come closer so he need to trust his Generals while he luanching campaign at the east.

Ep2 : After the first victory , Charlemagne 's army keep advance to Bordeaux and decide to lay siege. Suddenly , The king of Aquitain bring his forces sally out to fight because of Charlemagne's reinforcement not arrive so they got higher in number. The battle cannot avoid !. Charlemagne's forces with a bit of tired prepare strong defensive line with cavalry and some skermisher on both flank.

Charlemagne 's center forces hold on strongly with left flank secured. But problem is on the right flank , Aquitaine 's reinforcement arriving and put highly threat onto there. Cuase the open space between centrer and the right flank so the enemy wait no time to rushing to there with there king and a company of cavalry. That moment is only for the brave , Charlermagne with his bodyguard engaging the enemy with fewer men but willing of fight to the last. Charlemagne got hit by a random spear and fall from his horse , his bodyguard also all gone but luckily the center forces successfull drive the enemy back and come to help Charlemagne in critical moment. Finally the enemy rethreat all and Carlemagne still alive.! Victory is over , Bordeaux is in the hand. But later bad news come from the western border report that we lost Frankfurt right now.

You can add each episode to the OP or put it in a new post, whichever you prefer.

In episode 2, it looks like the enemy sent their full army against part of your line, and you countered this effectively. The wounding of Charlemagne and the wavering loyalty of Pepin look like potential difficulties.
