Cheat shell for Empire

In M2 it would be the "~" button. What about Empire? Would i put in add_money france, 10000 to give myself 10,000 gold for example? I'm getting my behind kicked as France in both North america and Europe so much as to the game is getting very frustrating and unenjoyable. I would like to moneterally cheat for a few years, to both build up units and new buildings so i can recruit some of the more advanced units, the game is almost at 1740 for sake, time is ticking until 1800.

There is no cheat console.

It's probably better off that way. Once you cheat once you'll do it anytime you're low on money. if you're playing a very challenging game only than it's not a disappointment
