Default [Artifex] Neldiun [Patron: Van Zandt]

    Citizens of the Curia,

During my tenure as a member of the now infamous "Modding Staff", while browsing through the forums, and on the recommendation of a fellow member of the staff I reviewed the contributions of Nelduin. He appears to be omnipresent in his work as a public-relations (PR) and beta-tester, contributing to many mods, including Hegemonia City States, Res Gestae, 4th Age Total War, Broken Crescent (my favorite) and others. He also helps maintain the ModDB pages for these mods. He has obviously been around for awhile, since September 2006 and has contributed in many ways to the activity here at TWC.

Because of his involvement with the modding aspect and all of the different moddings groups, I would like to propose Nelduin for the rank of Artifex.

I never really modded anything myself except a very few basic 2D things and text editing, but I did PR work for several teams along the years (Battles of Asia, Classical Age, Rome Medieval, Lord of the Rings TW, a few 2D for FATW, AlbionTW, SilmarillionTW and others). I became also administrator of TW french community (totalwar.fr, then universtotalwar.fr, then actual MundusBellicus.fr). I did my best the last 3-4 years to find many mods that would also be very hard to found because modders disappeared and never re-upload them.

You can see here the ModDB pages I created, and where I uploaded the latest versions when I could find them: https://www.moddb.com/members/echuu/mods
Sometimes mod leaders came back or were interested in using ModDB, so I gave them ability to manage the page themselves. The mods I uploaded at ModDB were downloaded roughly 300,000 times over last 8 years. I always posted the links here at TWC, so more people can enjoy them.

I also did my best to promote the TW modding community among French players, whom seem to be less active than others communities. I created threads and write articles about many mods, and worked on many translations (EB I & II, Divide & Impera and others).

Mod I did PR work/communication/previews/managing ModDB pages:
    - Hegemonia City States (created ModDB page, uploaded the mod, some beta-testing): https://www.twcenter.net/forums/foru...ty-States-(BI)
    - Classical Age - Total War (created ModDB page, uploaded the mod, beta-testing): https://www.twcenter.net/forums/foru...-Age-Total-War
    - Res Gestae (created ModDB page, uploaded the mod): https://www.twcenter.net/forums/foru...stae-Total-War
    - Lord of the Rings: Total War (created previews, beta-testing): https://www.twcenter.net/forums/foru...-(LotRTW)-(ALX
    - Fourth Age: Total War (some 2D art, not sure if it was included): https://www.twcenter.net/forums/foru...-TW-(FATW)-(BI
    - Battles of Asia (beta testing, PR, created ModDB page, created v2.0): https://www.twcenter.net/forums/foru...-of-Asia-(BoA)
    - Silmarillion: Total War (beta-testing, PR, previews, ModDB page - in development): https://www.twcenter.net/forums/foru...-Silmarillion)
    - Broken Crescent (ModDB page, uploaded the mod): https://www.twcenter.net/forums/foru...roken-Crescent
    - East of Rome (ModDB page, uploaded the mod): https://www.twcenter.net/forums/foru...5-East-of-Rome
    Etc etc, there is others

I also updated several ModDB pages made by authors with latest version (DiadochiTW; ChivarlyTW, ArthurianTW etc)

I actually do PR work for Haegemonia (TWR2 mod): https://www.twcenter.net/forums/show...sed-Haegemonia

I also made a French translation of Seven Kingdoms:https://www.twcenter.net/forums/show...tion-available
Lets all recognize Nelduin for all of his hard work and contributions to the TW community by awarding him the rank of Artifex.

The links in Nelduin's part are the abbreviated text of the links instead of the link locations themselves - it's 404 all the way. Please update.

    Example: https://www.twcenter.net/forums/show...tion-available

Oh, and support - reminds me that I haven't logged into mundusbellicus for ages.

Fixed the spelling and links. This all occurred on my end when I transferred the text to an editor for formatting.

Good contributions. Testing, when done seriously, can take huge amounts of time with often relatively little to show for. However, especially with large(r) mods, it's an essential task.

And Echuu has posted a link to the DCI:LA Public Beta on his Mod DB page, so it must be SUPPORT from me.

You jumped aboard the ship just in time to save another drowning sailor.

Or some other forced nautical metaphor.
