    Default Export_descr_character_traits save game compatible?

    It seems to me (unless I'm doing something completely wrong) that changes in EDCT are completely savegame uncompatible, is that true?
    Is there any way to circumvent this? In my case I just want to change back one single figure from 12 to 1 without having to start a new game. Is this really not possible at all?
    Help very much appreciated

    edit: I'm hoping for a storage/cache related reason like the .txt.strings files being created by the game for the \text-folder.
    Cause otherwise how the heck then is it possible that people create savegame-compatible mod-updates all the time (for example here)?
